Officially established in August 2015, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem created the first-ever university-based autism center in Israel, which seeks to lead the Middle East in research, training, clinical services, and community engagement for the benefit of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families.

In this HUJI Talk, Prof. Cory Shulman, Director of the Autism Center and Head of The Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Program at the School of Social Work at Hebrew University, shares historic perspectives on autism, explains the groundbreaking research and pioneering clinical services happening now, and outlines the challenges for the future.
