The Hebrew University Hadassah School of Dental Medicine has a deep-rooted connection with the Canadian dental community as it was founded in 1953 in partnership with the Hebrew University, Hadassah Hospital, and the Alpha Omega Dental International Fraternity.

The atrocities of the attacks on October 7, forced approximately 330,000 Israeli citizens to evacuate their homes. In response to this crisis, the dedicated clinical instructors, staff, and students from the School of Dental Medicine have been tirelessly providing essential dental care to evacuees in centers across the northern and southern regions of the country, utilizing emergency mobile dental units. Operating under challenging circumstances with limited resources in these high-demand areas, their objective is to secure additional units to reach a larger number of people in urgent need of dental care.

Recognizing the significance of their efforts, and how they may resonate with you as part of your dental community, I invite you to consider a meaningful gift to this initiative before the end of the year. It will go directly to acquiring additional mobile dental units, in turn, offering more care to those affected by the crisis. Your gift will also serve as a powerful message of solidarity from our Canadian dentists during these difficult times.

In hopes that this is of interest to you, please make your donation below. I am also available to speak at your convenience.

Warmest regards,

Heather
