Reflections on My Time at HU
By Harrison Konikoff, Toronto
I always wanted to spend a semester at Hebrew University. My father has been involved with CFHU since I was young and that sparked my interest in studying in Jerusalem. When it was time to look at exchange destinations during my undergraduate degree, choosing Hebrew U and getting to spend a significant time in Israel was the natural choice.
During my time at Hebrew U, I made great friends from all over the world with whom I have stayed in contact. As I learnt more about its history, politics and culture, I also grew much closer to Israel. I came back with a much stronger connection to Israel, which played a role in me going back this summer to work in Tel Aviv for a legal technology start-up.
