In Toronto recently, CFHU and Neal Brooks jointly held the first-ever Michael Lepofsky Betting on a Cure Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament.
Neil graciously hosted the event at his home. All proceeds went to the Michael Lepofsky Memorial Fund for pancreatic cancer research in support of ground-breaking, collaborative research projects in Israel and Canada.
Special thanks to Neal Brooks and Vivian Kwinta-Lepofsky, as well as to all the poker players and generous donors. CFHU congratulates the following tournament winners: 1st Place: Fred Weizenbluth; 2nd Place: Chris Andreou and 3rd Place: Brian Jeager.
Based on the event’s great success, Neal expects an even bigger tournament next time.
