The Fourth Annual Dr. Stephen Fichman Lecture in Ophthalmology, took place in Jerusalem at Hebrew University via Zoom on March 10, 2021.
The online event drew more than 150 participants and was a featured talk during the annual meeting of the Israel Chapter of The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), organized by Hebrew University.
The guest speaker was Montreal native Dr. Debra Goldstein, who is a former student and mentee of Dr. Stephen Fichman. Dr. Fichman delivered the closing remarks and presented Dr. Goldstein with the pictured plaque.
Dr. Goldstein is currently the Director of the Uveitis Service and Professor of Ophthalmology at Northwestern University in Chicago.
The annual Fichman lecture is made possible through a generous grant from Dr. Stephen Fichman, a specialist in cataract and laser refractive surgery.
