Shana Tova

Dear Friends of CFHU,

Wishing you and your families a healthy, joyous and prosperous year ahead. While our celebrations may look different this year, Rosh Hashanah still offers us the gift of hope through reflection, renewal and gratitude.

These past months have been challenging and we are very grateful for the enduring generosity shown in supporting our Hebrew University students. In particular the soldier students. These young men and women are working to balance their studies while defending the State of Israel against unrelenting threats, intensified by the current pandemic.

With this in mind, we are dedicating Rosh Hashanah 5781 to supporting soldier students and ask that you too consider honouring the promise of a better year, by making a gift to the scholarship fund in support of their education.

The video above introduces you to a few of these soldiers currently studying at the Hebrew University. They are truly inspiring and remind us, that like Rosh Hashanah, education offers the gift of hope through reflection and renewal, and for that they are very grateful

With warmest wishes of Chag Sameach and Shana Tova U’Metukah.
