WEBINAR - Improving Nutrition in the Developing World: The Search for Sustainable Solutions

Dr. Aliza Stark is the Co-Director of the International MSc Program in Nutritional Sciences in English, Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Dr. Stark’s research focuses on health promotion and nutrition education with projects involving sustainable nutritional practices in the developing world. Dr. Stark has 70 publications in peer-reviewed journals and books and serves as the academic liaison for the forum for the Advancement of Women for the City of Rehovot.

Dr. Stark was introduced by Margaret Shuckett, president of the Winnipeg Chapter of CFHU, an educator herself, a longtime supporter of the University and its outreach programs, and whose two daughters both attended the Rothberg International School. Her husband, Morris, is also the past president of the Winnipeg CFHU chapter.
