Reflections on my time at HU

I heard about the Hebrew University program through the Centre for International Experience at the University of Toronto. I was already on exchange in Wales for my third year of my undergrad, and thought why not do another exchange! I went to Rothberg in 2012 for a summer program.
The program was mostly covered by scholarship funds generously provided from the Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and going to Israel had always been on my bucket list. Combining my love of travelling and learning was the perfect mix. I did the summer program at Hebrew U and took courses on Early Modern Zionism and Coexistence in the Middle East.
Taking these courses that were outside of my major was a fantastic experience. Being firsthand to everything I learned about enriched the whole experience. I have lifelong friendships from studying in Israel and I’m so grateful for the opportunity!
