Dr. Paul M. Beckingham attended the inaugural HU Trauma and Resilience program. What first struck me was the diversity of our group. We were Christians, Jews, and Muslims, 20-somethings to 60-somethings. We came from the U.S.A., Canada, Britain, Holland, Germany, Finland, Bolivia, and Israel. We were psychotherapists in private practice, researchers in trauma, military chaplains from three countries, a school psychologist, a former reporter from the Times of London, and graduate students of psychology.

Mike Benhaim and Howie Grossinger, co-chairmen of this year's tournament were thrilled by the response to this annual 'fund-raising' and 'friend-raising' activity sponsored by Toronto Alumni & Friends. Each year the tournament raises money for a specific project at The Hebrew University and this year proceeds from the $50,000 raised will sponsor a new one-time 2 year scholarship for a Canadian Graduate student wishing to attend HU.
