My Hebrew University Experience, by Naomi Schwartz

Naomi SchwartzAs the recipient of the Canadian Friends of Hebrew University Scholarship, Naomi arrived in Israel in August 2009 and started right away on the Summer Ulpan.  She experienced Israeli Shabbatons, hiked a nature reserve, biked in the mountains, and then settled into her classes at the Rothberg International School in Environmental Biotechnology. The Botanical Garden on the Mount Scopus campus of the Hebrew University  of Jerusalem will be formally reopened to the public at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, marking the completion of a restoration and development project that has been underway for the past two years.
