This
year the Canadian
Friends of the Hebrew University is raising
funds to support research in Familial Mediterranean
Fever at The
Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The Hebrew University
has been at the forefront of worldwide research for this disease
occurring most commonly in people of Sephardic Jewish background.
FMF is an inherited disorder usually characterized by recurrent
episodes of fever and abdominal inflammation.
