Campaign for the Students

CFHU's "Campaign for The Hebrew University Students" is a multifaceted, international fundraising effort. As always, we are leading the way in ensuring that The Hebrew University's 24,000 students have the resources they need in order to become the next leaders and innovators in Israel and the world.

Among the top fundraising priorities are scholarships for students, infrastructure and new facility needs for the University, recruiting talented new faculty members, and the construction of a new Student Village to accommodate HU's rapidly growing enrolment.

New Student Village Well Underway

Rapid progress is being made on the construction of the Mount Scopus Student Village at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The ten-acre building complex is the biggest dormitory project of its kind ever undertaken in Israel. Due to be completed by 2007, the modern and attractive dorms, which will be faced in Jerusalem stone, will increase student housing by 50%. Attracting students from throughout Israel and from all over the world, the Scopus Student Village is designed to house a multicultural community of scholars.
