After spending a year as a student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Kagan transferred to U of T, where she was able to continue honing her skills as a dancer on the Varsity Blues dance team. The University of Toronto student is a double major in political science and Jewish studies, she’s a tap and jazz dance instructor at two dance studios, she leads a Zumba class at a Curves fitness centre and she’s also co-captain of U of T’s Varsity Blues dance team. But Kagan, 21, is not satisfied to rest on her laurels. She’s added a new project to her list.
For three months Adam Hummel studied at the Masa Israel-accredited Hebrew University in Jerusalem, doing a semester exchange during my third year of law school at the University of Windsor, and wrote this article in the Jewish Tribune about his experience.
To bring some warmth and Hanukkah cheer to the Canadian students studying at the Hebrew University, the CFHU invited the students for a night out on the town. Dinner and an Israeli concert were on the menu at the newly opened Zappa Club in downtown Jerusalem Students were treated to a delicious meal and concert by the wonderfully talented Keren Pelez.
