Baroness Scotland Delivers Lionel Cohen Lecture
Jerusalem, January 6, 2010 - The British Attorney-General Baroness Scotland of Asthal QC delivered the annual Lionel Cohen Lecture at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Mount Scopus campus this week. Baroness Scotland spoke on ‘Lawfare: Time for Rules of Engagement?’ before a packed audience of scholars, students, dignitaries and members of the media and that included President of the Supreme Court Justice Dorit Beinisch, British Ambassador H.E. Tom Phillips and Chairman of the British Friends of the Hebrew University's Legal Group Lord Pannick Q.C.
During her two-day visit to the University, Baroness Scotland met with students of the Faculty of Law's Clinical Legal Education Center at two of its neighborhood clinics.
