Presidents Shake Hands on Conference to Cope with Economic Crisis

March 30, 2009 - Israel’s President Shimon Peres and Hebrew University of Jerusalem President Prof. Menachem Magidor announced cooperation in the second annual President’s Conference on “Facing Tomorrow,” which will be held in Jerusalem on Oct. 22-29.

The conference will bring together world leaders, academics, economic experts and others to focus on coping with the world financial crisis in ways aimed at bringing about a better tomorrow for Israel, the Jewish people and the entire world. The conference will emphasize the successful achievements of Israel until now and of the needs of tomorrow.
