The scholarship, recommended by board member Lorne Persiko and named in memory of Kelly Silverstein, will be awarded on the basis of scholastic merit. This scholarship is aptly named for a young man whose passion for excellence was evident in his love of playing and coaching sports.  Family and friends of the late Kelly Silverstein were happy to associate with Hebrew University, an institution that is also at the top of its game.
