Ottawa BOHUBEST OF HEBREW U COMES TO OTTAWA

The Ottawa Chapter of CFHU held the fifth annual Best of Hebrew U on November 7 to a record crowd. Following dinner, Professor Raymond Kaempfer from the Institute of Medical Research presented the keynote address "Using the Human Body to Fight Disease".

Participants then heard from a number of stellar Hebrew University faculty members in a variety of topics. We were pleased to welcome to Ottawa Professor Daniel Schwartz from the Department of the History of the Jewish People, The Mandel Institute of Jewish Studies; Dr. Paul Frosh from the Department of Communications and Journalism, Faculty of Social Sciences; and Dr. Zohar Kerem, of The Institute of Biochemisty, Food Science and Nutrition, Faculy of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Quality Science.
