DECEMBER 30, 2018

Dear CFHU Family,

As 2018 winds down, we want to wish all of you a wonderful holiday season and to thank you for your support of CFHU and Hebrew University over the past 12 months.

This year has been extremely productive and gratifying for all of us at CFHU. It has been a period of renewal and restructuring, updating many facets, refreshing our vision, and adopting new strategies to achieve our goals.

Among the many highlights were the 81st Board of Governors celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the cornerstone laying of Hebrew University; leading the world’s first-ever Cannabis Mission to the Multidisciplinary Centre for Cannabis Research; and seeing former CFHU National Chair Stephen Victor awarded an Honorary Doctorate at HU.

Reflecting on CFHU’s achievements in 2018, we want to first thank our entire donor community without whom CFHU wouldn’t exist and whose generosity contributes so much to the international acclaim of Hebrew U. Collectively, our donors are our partner in the vision to provide the right tools to HU so it will continue to be Israel’s leading centre of knowledge and innovation.

We also want to express our deep appreciation to the members of our National and Regional Boards, and hundreds of volunteers, all of whom bring so much to the table in their commitment to CFHU. They are a source of inspiration and guidance for our organization.

Special thanks are in order to CFHU’s professional team across the country for their hard work and dedication every day.

Last but certainly not least, we would also like to thank our alumni for their growing engagement and support, and who remind us of the incredible impact Hebrew U makes in the life of its students.

The new year will be particularly meaningful for CFHU as it will mark the 75th Anniversary of our storied organization. We are now in the midst of planning special initiatives to celebrate this important milestone and hope you will be part of them.

With your valued support, we look forward to continue going from strength to strength, and making 2019 our most successful year ever.

Wishing you and your families all the best for a healthy, joyous and fulfilling new year.
