Jerusalem of the Future

Canadian Friends of Hebrew University’s third annual Einstein Gala celebrated history, legacy, technology and the future, marking the university’s efforts to enhance Jerusalem’s reputation to include a future-oriented city synonymous with technology, innovation and human imagination. Speakers included Waze co-founder Uri Levine, Prof. Amnon Ginati, head of telecommunication and integrated applications at the European Space Agency, Abir Nassee, head of the Artists and Merchants Association of the Old City of Jerusalem and Ambassador Ido Aharoni. The funds raised will go toward establishing the Einstein Research and Visitors Center in Jerusalem, housing Einstein’s letters, books and belongings.
